I got the idea for this project while I was researching procedural crawl cycles in combination with softbodies for a commercial job. As it goes, that job fell through, but I liked the results enough to recycle them for this loopable animation, turning my formerly undefined softbodies into a maggot with a taste for adventure.
Once done with the animation, I set out to find a suitable sound designer. I consider myself very fortunate that I could win over Danish audio wizard Human Robot Soul, who provided music and sound effects.
